The idea behind Modern Mercantile came from my love of design and searching for unique gifts and items for my home. I envisioned a well styled shop with a little something for everyone. Gifts for people, pets, and home. Modern Mercantile opened its door in November of 2014 and I've been constantly seeking out unique finds and adding new merchandise to keep the shop fresh and new since then.
